Urban Ministries
The vision for Urban Ministries encompasses a holistic approach to transforming urban communities through the power of the Gospel, addressing spiritual, social, economic, and relational needs.

Vision

Where are our urban areas?

We envision communities where lives are transformed by the love of Christ, where spiritual renewal fosters hope, and where churches build meaningful connections with those they serve. Our vision magnifies a world where marginalized voices are uplifted, systemic injustices are challenged, and every neighborhood thrives through equitable access to housing, economic opportunities, and quality education. We are committed to promoting holistic health and well-being, celebrating unity in diversity, and cultivating transformational relationships that bring healing and reconciliation. Together, we strive for a society where everyone can reach their God-given potential, flourishing in all aspects of life.

1. Spiritual Renewal: A city where hearts are transformed by the love of Christ, where individuals encounter God’s grace, and where churches are developing meaningful relationships with the people who live in their communities.

2. Social Justice: A city where the marginalized are acknowledged and uplifted, and where systemic injustices are addressed through advocacy and action.

3.Community Development: A city where neighborhoods are revitalized, where affordable housing is accessible to all, and where economic opportunities abound for every resident.

4. Education and Empowerment: A city where children receive a quality education, where youth are empowered to pursue their dreams, and where lifelong learning opportunities are available to all.

5. Health and Well-being: A city where healthcare is accessible and affordable, where individuals experience physical and emotional healing, and where holistic wellness is prioritized.

6. Unity and Diversity: A city where diversity is appreciated, where people from all backgrounds come together in unity, and where bridges are built across cultural, racial, and socioeconomic divides.

7. Transformational Relationships: A city where individuals experience the love and support of authentic community, where broken relationships are restored, and where the power of reconciliation brings healing and wholeness.
