“No church building? No problem,” says Joelle Chinnock, administrator of disaster relief and development at the Paradise church.
Church ministry didn’t stop just because they lost their building to the Camp fire. Church members continued to focus on helping neighbors rebuild before addressing their church facility needs.
Through Love Paradise, they coordinated community service days, such as a community clean-up on Earth Day, and the NCC academy and elementary students became involved with community service groups to help spread love around Paradise.
Chinnock sums it up by saying, “The experience has truly been a church without walls.”
