To achieve and maintain ‘functional zero’ for at least one population group (chronic, veterans, adults with children, youth, etc.) per county/area where the Adventist Church is present in the Northern California Conference territory by 2032.

We are currently establishing ending homelessness initiative taskforces (EHIT) throughout our conference. A task force is a team of representatives from churches and schools who will collaborate to address homelessness within their counties.

We aim to reach functional zero with at least one population group – a technical term that refers to the point at which a community has effectively ended homelessness, ensuring that homelessness is rare, brief, and non-recurring.
