Northern California Conference Workplace Violence Prevention Plan Purpose
The purpose of the Workplace Violence Prevention Plan (WVPP) is to provide a comprehensive strategy for ensuring workplace safety in compliance with California Senate Bill 533 and California Labor Code Section 6401.9. This written plan underscores the organization’s commitment to creating and maintaining a safe environment for all employees and volunteers.
The Northern California Conference of Seventh-day Adventists (NCC) is dedicated to fostering a safe and secure environment for its employees, volunteers, students, and public guests who visit our facilities or receive services from our organization. To fulfill this responsibility, the NCC has adopted a proactive approach to workplace violence awareness and prevention. This approach includes risk reduction strategies and regular training for staff and volunteers.
