TEACHER/PRINCIPAL OPENINGS

Chico Oaks Adventist School/Paradise Adventist Academy - Music Teacher

Chico is a family-friendly, vibrant town approximately 90 minutes north of Sacramento. Chico is located at the base of the Sierra Nevada mountains and is close to lakes, hiking, and lots of outdoor recreation. Chico Oaks Adventist Elementary expects to have approximately 120 students next year in K-8 and shares a campus with Paradise Adventist Academy with 50 students in 9-12.

COAS and PAA are cooperating to hire a full-time teacher to run the K-12 music program. This full-time teacher, with help from a current part-time teacher, will work to provie both choral and instrumental instruction for grades K-12. This will include beginning and intermediate instruction for elementary students as well as a comprehensive music program for the high school. COAS and PAA are supported by two loving church communities that highly value music education for their children. The COAS/PAA music department performs both sacred and secular programs for the churches and the community.
