Administrative Assistant-Trust Officer/Property Management

Job Description Summary: Answers phones, processes incoming and outgoing mail, and assists the Trust Officer in the administration of matured estates. Facilitates the flow of property documents, including use agreement applications, hold harmless agreement applications, completed use and hold-harmless agreements, leases, contracts, and property purchase/sales transactions. Maintains records in Goldmine database. Maintains files and performs general clerical duties for the Associate Treasurer and assists with preparation and mailing of distributions, tax returns, and other documents. Facilitates the flow of property tax exemption documents to ensure the timely filing of exemption applications. Files all receipts, checks, statements, correspondence, and other items relating to trusts, CGAs, and other planned gifts. Tracks and obtains proof of insurance for life estates, matured estates, notes receivable, and other NCC properties.

TEACHER/PRINCIPAL OPENINGS

Feather River Adventist School - Teacher, Grades 1-4
Feather River Adventist School (FRAS) is situated in Northern California at the base of the foothills on the banks of the Feather River where it flows out of the Sierra Nevada onto the flat floor of the Sacramento Valley. It was established as the home base of navigation on the Feather River to supply gold miners during the California Gold Rush. FRAS currently has 30 students. The school is wonderfully supported by area churches and an enthusiastic constituency. FRAS is fully accredited and enjoys a reputation of Christ centered teaching, and an emphasis on education for the whole child. The school garden project is enjoyed by all students.

Feather River Adventist School - Kindergarten Teacher (Part-time 50%)
Feather River Adventist School is a growing K-8 school located just south of Oroville, CA, with an anticipated enrollment of 33 students for next year.  The position would include teaching kindergarten students from 8 a.m. until 12 noon.  Oroville is located just 20 miles south of Chico, CA in Northern California.

Foothills Adventist Elementary School - Teacher, Grades 7 & 8
Foothills Adventist Elementary School (FAES) is a K-8 school located in the beautiful Napa valley less than five miles from Pacific Union College. The area is rich in education, medical service, and Seventh-day Adventist history. FAES has more than 30 students in the K-8 range, and is seeking a full time 7-8 teacher to round out the three-teacher staff. The school is moving towards a project-based learning (PBL) approach to their educational offerings. The school is particularly interested in teachers who have a strong desire for teaching the love of Jesus to their students, and experience in PBL or a deep interest in serving students in that style of education.

Experience: NAD Elementary Certification is required, and three or more years of project-based teaching is preferred. Must have authorization to work in the United States.

Rio Lindo Adventist Academy - Assistant Girls' Dean (Task Force)

Rio Lindo is looking for an assistant girls dean for the 2021-2022 school year. With expectations of growth, the candidate would be considered for a full time position in 2022-2023 as an assistant dean.  Duties will include providing help and assistance to the head girls dean, supervising and mentoring the students of the dorm, providing structure and stability as well as being a strong spiritual influence in the dorm. There may be other duties assigned by the principal.  Applicants who have interest in other areas of campus, ie sports, music, youth ministry will be given the opportunity if desired. Housing and food would also be provided. Rio Lindo is a 9-12 boarding academy in Healdsburg, CA. Girls dorm enrollment is typically between 50-60 students.  The school owns 365 acres surrounded by vineyards, and four miles of Russian River access.  We are only 65 miles from San Francisco and 25 miles from the Pacific Ocean.

Sacramento Adventist Academy ECEC - Preschool Teacher

SAA Preschool is in need of an Early Childhood Education Teacher for the Fall of 2021. The preschool is located on the beautiful campus of Sacramento Adventist Academy. The ideal applicant is someone who is warm and friendly, who is experienced with young children ages 2-5 and who has completed Early Childhood Education units with teacher qualifications. Any warm and friendly individual who likes working with young children and is willing to enroll in Early Childhood Education classes is also encouraged to apply.
