Obituary for Deborah Krieger
Deborah Christine Krieger passed away of natural causes in her warm, cozy home in Yreka, California, on July 26, 2021 at the age of 69.
She was born in New York state to Duke and Nora Duclos. She was raised in Redding, California, and married her high school sweetheart, Bradley Giorgi. She gave birth to two children, Christopher and Jacob. After nine years of marriage, she suffered a divorce.
Deborah was courageous enough to raise two boys on her own until she met her soulmate, David Krieger. They were married in 1989 and recently celebrated their 32nd anniversary.
She graduated with a bachelor's degree from Siskiyou college and enjoyed a wonderful teaching career. She was a loving wife, an attentive mother, and a passionate educator to children of all ages.
She loved Jesus. She loved her dogs. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. She spread the gospel, instructed classrooms, planted flowers and cheered at her sons' sporting events. She wore a friendly smile wherever she went. She enjoyed working hard to live her dreams. She happily owned and operated Old Town Bakery in downtown Yreka. Debbie loved to share her time and cooking skills with friends old and new.
She was adored by many and will be greatly missed.
